When Ford revived the Bronco line in 2021, it brought back an iconic vehicle that defined off-road adventure in previous generations. This renewed tradition continues into the 2026 model year.
At Jim O’Neal Ford, the highly acclaimed 2026 Ford Bronco is ready for test drives at our dealership.
The 2026 Ford Bronco’s body-on-frame construction is off-road capable. Available in two- or four-door configuration, this vehicle’s double A-arms (independent) front suspension and solid rear axle offer exceptional articulation on uneven terrain. This combination maintains contact between wheels and the ground when traversing rocks, ruts, and obstacles that could leave lesser-capable vehicles stranded.
Available 4WD systems include an electronic-locking front and rear axle.
G.O.A.T. Modes®: Goes Over Any Type of Terrain
The terrain-management system features multiple drive modes.

For the Badlands®, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor® models:
Baja

Ground clearance varies by trim level and configuration, but all have generous clearance for navigating obstacles without worrying about damaging the undercarriage.
Power That Moves Mountains
Off-roading requires a capable powertrain, and under the hood the 2026 Ford Bronco can deliver the torque (varies by trim and available engine) and manual seven- or optional automatic 10-speed transmission needed for adventure.
The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder. The available 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 ups the horsepower and torque, better for especially challenging terrain and towing duties. Lastly, the 3.0-liter Ecoboost V6 provides serious power for drivers who are looking to go on some seriously challenging terrain.
As noted above, the transmission options include a seven-speed manual gear for drivers who want total control. An available 10-speed automatic is better for drivers who just want the vehicle to readily manage power delivery across a wide range of conditions.
The manual transmission option is a noteworthy offering, existing in an era when manual setups are increasingly rare. This stands as another example of why the 2026 Ford Bronco keeps the spirit of driver engagement alive.

Technology Meets the Great Outdoors
Ford’s commitment to bringing this vehicle to the 21st century is evident in the latest SYNC® infotainment system. The large touchscreen display in the 2026 Ford Bronco is user-friendly, even with gloves on while traversing bumpy terrain.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration keeps your smartphone of choice connected. The available navigation system helps drivers find their way even when traveling in remote areas.
Available 360-degree cameras help drivers navigate tight trail situations by showing the wheels’ position relative to obstacles. Trail Control™, available on models with automatic transmissions, lets drivers set the speed when on off-road trails.
The available front-facing camera can keep drivers’ view on what is directly ahead of them, whether they are cresting hills or navigating tight spots.
Driver-assistance features can offer an extra layer of confidence for drivers in difficult driving conditions. Safety features like the available adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking help keep drivers and passengers alike safe on the highway, the trail, and wherever else they may drive the 2026 Ford Bronco.
